The year I was in HiLites, we wore these fuschia poly-satin dresses, with the black shoes and black bead necklace

I remember those dresses, mine had a loud and beer soaked ending as an elf costume one Halloween, in Crete Greece. It served me well. haha

Were you in RS in your senior year? I think we did it again that year, or attempted to, but that was the year post Mrs. Hartley, and things just didn't seem to go very well that year.

I remember that medley. I thought we did it in Hi-Lites in 9th grade, but then, I might remember HEARING Hi-Lites do it in 10th grade, and getting it confused with "Stop in the Name of Love". My brain is getting addled in my old age. :?

I remember that medley, and yes, we did it in Hi-Lites. I personally didn't care too much for it then, but I love those songs now! "Stop" was one of the little bits of the medley.

I remember one night during the first year of 'Scrooge' (Chris Winn was Ebenezer) where we (Chris and I) sat in Hartley's 'office' (the little room off of the green room) and wasted a can of fog making it look like stoner heaven. The man was not happy, and at 12-15 bucks a can for fog, I understand why.

John Duan was young Enebezer, and my ex sister in law Tammy Henderson was Scrooge's nephew's fiancee. "Oh Uncle Ebenezer, you are such a kind man! Christmas dinner is sharp at 3...may we be expecting you?" That was her entire line!

The year I played Scrooge (2nd year they did it) I actually FELL ASLEEP when I first lay down, and the Ghost of Christmas Past (Amparito) woke me up!

I was in band at DHS from 1974-1978. I played trumpet. Back then we had about 40 people in band. In '78 we were the first band to get a Superior at state marching competition. Our band director was Mrs. Powell and my mother was in charge of the majorettes at that time.

I played for one year with the FSU Marching Chiefs. I didnt return to college due to financial issues and I became a firefighter in '79. I have been one ever since but I am starting to play bugle again for our Department's Honor Guard.
